My, oh, my, what a wonderful day....
Today went great! I had a bunch of help from a friend (KA) in the morning piling things into her car to donate and then she drove them to town for me. It was great to see all thata stuff that we didn't need going out the door never to return again! Makes more room for new stuff...haha.
Then this afternoon, to Bible School girls were assigned to help me for a little while and I got some vacuuming done, the kitchen floor scrubbed, the bathroom cleaned and the trash can washed (when does that ever happen!?!) So, all in all it was a good day. I also got to watch the men dig a rock out of the driveway with the back hoe. That was pretty impressive and it wasn't even a very big rock (compared to some they've dug out!).
Health wise, I'm feeling better today, though I'm not "running on all eight cylinders" yet (Ode to Dad). My nose has ceased running full blast and the mack truck got off my face, for which I am very thankful.
And now, this evening I'm looking forward to a fun time at the church activities for the evening and then getting a little bit of shut eye before the BIG day begins tomorrow... For those of you who don't know what tomorrow is, I'll tell you!
IT'S BRANDON'S BIRTHDAY!!!!!! He will be a mere 28 years old!
So, now's the time to break down an send him an email, or a card, or a small yacht letting him know just how wonderful, funny, or odd you think he is. Ok, don't go too far with the odd idea. Or, I suppose if you just want to, you can just comment here...he'll read that too.
And since he just demanded to see what I was writing, you are now officially allowed to let the "odd" comments fly!
Ok, just enough time to wash dishes before Wed. night meeting.
Oh, I remember a funny story...James came home today with a bag of cotton candy and I asked him where he got it. He said, "From the daddy on the roof." I figured out later that I was obviously supposed to know that was TJ! And he didn't steal it, it was given generously into his hand. (It's TJ's B-day tomorrow also, but you need not send positive comments to me about that! :-)
Now I'm really leaving..tata.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRANDON!!!!!!
I even remembered it all on my own this morning and was thinking of sending you an e-mail to tell you how odd you are!!! Actually, no, I was thinking a plethora of wonderful things which sprang easily to mind (no long pauses) about how funny you are, and how much I appreciate you and love having you around, and how good your object lessons are, and how I admire you and love your family, and...hope that keeps you going for a while. And it's all sincere! I really mean it!
Have a fabu day and year!
I say happy birthday too!
Happy Birthday Brandon... my dad's was the 4th. He's got you beat though. He turned 51... yeah!
I love your family and you're a pretty nice guy too. Got patriarchal(sp?) competition? "The daddy on the roof?"
God bless you and your family this year. My brother Dana I think is 27... so ya'll's gettin old.

I agree with the "mere 28" part. A good age if I may say so myself :)
Happy Birthday Brandon, and have a God blessed next year...

Happy Late Birthday, Brandon! You are one fantabulous person.
I really want to know the story behind the dubbing of the Daddy on the roof. What caused this unusual moniker?
Thanks for all the birthday wishes for Brandon!
Claire, I have no idea why James came up with that name for TJ. It just happened.
who is St. Busta Chop... he's popped up before...:)
Some guy who sells cuts of pig online. I don't think I know him. Just a random commenter.
