Home Sweet Home..sort of

I pride myself on having a place for everything. I don’t generally get everything IN its place these days, but at least it does have a home. However, lately, the children have been relocating things and I’m not sure if they think that their “new” locations are a better place or what, but I thought people might find their spots interesting. Here are a few examples:

Coathanger: Belongs in the closet…no the toilet bowl.
Mama’s Purse: Stays on the counter…or in Jonathon’s closet.
Buzz Lightyear: Lives in the toy box…and sometimes the garbage can.
Three blocks, a puzzle piece, and a K’Nex piece (along with a host of misc. Adams’ boys toys live in the air conditioning vent.
Pinestraw has moved from the flower beds to the trunks of their toy cars.
The cookie belongs on the windowsill now instead of the ktichen.
The play money now is housed in the refrigerator.
The bath toys go in the dishwasher.

So there you have it…based on these ideas, don’t you think they would make great professional organizers!!? No? Well…maybe in a couple of years!

Hey, I am looking forward to having you back at Fairwood!
I also asked the other resident boys if they were looking forward to having Jonathon, James, and Jeff back. They said they were. And just think- we've added boys number seven and eight to the mix! (That would be Timothy and Peter)

Play money in the REFRIGERATOR??? Maybe it has something to do with the whole appearance of a bank vault thing, depending on what type of movies your kids have been watching. Very amusing for us, though.:)

Ah, yes, how lovely it will be to have you back amongst us Fairwoodians once again! Happy traveling.

Mary, if it's any comfort, remember that in sixty years the roles will be reversed and your sons will get to experience the same things with you...dentures in the refrigerator, cordless phone in the dishwasher, hearing aid in the waste basket, polyester housedress on the windowsill... In fact, it should comfort you to know there's a good chance that in your old age you'll put your children through everything they put you through. Now isn't that a happy thought?

Well, I tried.

Come on, haven't you guys ever heard of Feng Shui? Obviously your kids, mary, are very attuned to the energies of the house and are only doing their best to favorably align it. :) hahahahaha.

Ditto to the others about looking forward to having your family back.
